Schicksbaum is a district in Krefeld, that has become a new home for many people from 38 nations in recent years.
There the artist Anna Gebert has realized her dream of a painting and art school.
That art can contribute - through inspiration and information - to overcome barriers and to build bridges,
this is testified by the Project Summer Academy - in 50 days through the art history of the world.
For 50 days children and teenager "traveled around the world" and immersed in the history of art from 38 countries.
As a special highlight of this project an even roadworthy car was painted with the works of the kids.

invite to the vernissage on Saturday, September 26, 2015 and inform about the project.

Together with its partners the painting school invited to the vernissage that took place in the nearby car dealership.
Of course this special event should be captured for eternity - and in particular for the participating children and teenagers.
Already the day after the opening, the processed results were made available.
